The so called Waschraum (washing room) of the world heritage site
Völklingen ironworks is an approx. 20- meter-long and three-metre-wide
room with skylights. For this work, the last three meters of ground of
the tube-like space were painted white. Above the white field, a wire
emerges from the left wall and draws a three metre-long-line at eye level,
at its end there is a sphere floating two centimetres in front of the opposite wall.
